About Me

My name is Lauren. I'm currently a stay at home mom to our three kids - but that was far from the path I thought I would end up. I graduated with my undergrad and set out into the corporate workforce. With the help of a few mentors and many personal sacrifices - I had made my way up the corporate ladder and reached the level of Assistant Vice President while out on maternity leave with my firstborn.

It wasn't until I was living the juggling act as working mom that I realized what the sacrifice really meant - and as all moms do - I had to decide which of these things I was willing to let fall. Flash forward to the pandemic, a missed miscarriage and more missed milestones - the decision became action. I would stay at home and devote the same ferocious spirit I had given my corporate job to building and raising our family.  

Our adventures (the namesake of this site) have taken us many other places since then - two more kids later, the decision to homeschool, and a renewed passion for creating holiday traditions and parties. The goal of this space is to share a little slice of our world, and the tools I use to try and make it all happen.
