Blackstone Smashburgers

This summer's new addition to our kitchen has been our 22inch Blackstone grill. This was one of the first recipes we made on it, and it has continued to be a family favorite simple dinner, entertaining meal or even for a camping trip! If you're feeling extra hungry- feel free to turn these into double cheeseburgers.
Ingredients:
Instructions:
Divide the ground beef into 4 1/4 lb balls.
Heat the griddle on medium heat to around 375 degrees (use the thermometer gun if you have one, else wait a few minutes until it's hot)
Add a drizzle of oil to the griddle
Add the ground beef balls to the griddle, then place the parchment paper on top of the ground beef balls, and use the burger press to smash the burgers. Once smashed remove the parchment paper.
Season the burger patties with the Kinders Buttery Steakhouse seasoning.
Wait until the edges of the patties start to brown, then flip the patties adding more seasoning.
After about 1 minute add your cheese.
After about 1 minute the cheese should be nice and melted, remove the patties from the griddle.
Now slice the burger buns in half (unless they are pre sliced)
Place them on the griddle cut side down to toast the buns.
Remove the buns from the griddle (they should only need about a minute but adjust until they are toasted to your liking)
Assemble the burger with toppings of your choice. Our favorites are onions cooked on the griddle, bacon, lettuce, tomato or pickles!
